Tasting Notes
Tom Mann NR
The Extra Virgin Oil is considered by Francesco Paolo Valentini as his greatest pride and the flagship of his activity. It is produced from an olive variety called Dritta, or Loretana, because it is typical of the Loreto Aprutino territory. Located in the heart of the province of Pescara, halfway between the Adriatic coast and the high peaks of the Gran Sasso, Loreto Aprutino is the municipality with the highest density of olive trees in Italy, the first to have obtained the PDO designation. A masterpiece of balance, elegance, and expressiveness, capable of enhancing, raw, every type of dish, from fish to legume soups, giving them character and personality. Its taste is intense, powerful, and full-bodied, marked by elegant sweet nuances and delicate spicy and bitter notes that give it depth and consistency. It reveals impeccable aromatic cleanliness and beautiful persistence that evoke nuts and dried fruit
