Tasting Notes
Neal Martin 87-89
The 2021 Bourgogne Blanc comes from three vineyards in Puligny, Chassagne and Saint-Aubin. This is quite elegant on the nose, understated even with Granny Smiths and a hint of white peach. The palate is well balanced with a lovely texture, impressive weight for a regional white and with welcome "bite" on the finish. Enjoy over several years.

One-third each from vines in Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and St-Aubin. 65 ares in total. Limestone soils, with St-Aubin especially high in limestone and chalk. No new oak in this cuvee. Tank sample.Bright, mid-pale lemon. Zesty citrus and apple. Not especially complex; frank with fine, clean and fresh acidity. Citrus and chalk on the palate. It s fine enough. (MH)
