Mid yellow, rather more exotic, riper, possibly not the purity of some other wines in the Jadot line-up. Some acidity, a bit ungainly, but with character. I don’t think it will ever be the most finely balanced wines. Pears and lemons together. [01/01/2023]

Vinous 91-93

The 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Clos de la Garenne 1er Cru is more perfumed and floral than the La Garenne. Peach skin and rosewater touches make this very seductive. The palate is composed and harmonious but needs a little more nervosité, yet the finish is very harmonious and tender. Excellent. [Neal Martin, 10/01/2023]
