The 2020 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru is brilliant, unwinding to reveal beautifully pure aromas of cherries, red berries, rose petals, orange zest and vanilla pod. Full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with a deep core of vibrant fruit, lively acids and a youthfully tightly wound profile, it concludes with a long, perfumed finish. [William Kelley, 31/01/2023]

Vinous 97

The 2020 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru was quite spectacular from barrel last year. Not in bottle, sure, it has closed up a little, yet there remains a brooding intensity, dark berry fruit, Earl Grey and mineral aromas eventually emerging. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, grainy in texture, superb concentration and symmetry with a very long and detailed finish. Superb. [Neal Martin, 05/01/2023]
