The 2019 Pouilly-Fuissé Les Perrières, which will be a Premier Cru from the ‘vintage (like Le Clos) has a very focused and mineral-driven bouquet, hints of yellow flowers and patisserie evolving with aeration. The palate is vibrant on the entry with a dab of sour lemon lending tension and vigour. Gaining depth towards the finish, this has wonderful salinity and impressive persistence. The 2019 is quite a sublime Les Perrières to savour for 20 years. [Neal Martin, 01/11/2021]
