Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 91
The 2019 Meursault Desiree is immensely appealing, wafting from the glass with notions of mandarin orange, apricot, Meyer lemon, crisp Anjou pear and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, it’s sensual and enveloping, with lively acids and an expressive, giving profile.

12-year-old vines. Tank sample, to be bottled February/March 2021. Clive Coates MW was very dismissive of Désirée’s ageing potential but Dominique has proved he was wrong. Hazelnut cream on the nose. Good mix of tension and lime fruit on the palate. Pretty forward. Early-ripening site and certainly charming.
