EnquiryThis cuvée comes from three parcels of granite soils and very old vines. It’s partially destemmed and brought up mostly in used barrels. The 2016 Cornas Vin Noir is meaty and black-fruited, with full-bodied richness and depth as well as notes of leafy herbs, truffle, woodsmoke, and game. It’s closed down since release but is still a beautiful, impressive wine. Give bottles another couple of years.
