Tasting Notes
Antonio Galloni 90-93
The 2015 Quintus wraps around the palate with serious depth and intensity. Dark cherry, plum, chocolate and spices are some of the signatures. Sumptuous, rich and full-bodied, the 2015 is a decidedly big wine, yet it also possesses terrific overall balance for the vintage.

The 2015 Quintus has a fresh and marine-influenced bouquet with blackberry and light licorice scents. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly furry tannins, a keen line of acidity, decent tension and a touch of dark chocolate toward the savory, dried blood-tinged finish. Tasted blind at the 2015 Bordeaux Ten-Year-On tasting.

"A blend of 76% Merlot and 24% Cabernet Franc, the 2015 Quintus has a medium to deep garnet-purple hue, opening with aromas of baked cherries, warm red currants and crushed black plums with touches of cigar box, violets and dark chocolate. Medium-bodied, it sports very finely-grained, plush tannins and remains seamlessly refreshing and elegant in the mouth with a seductively nuanced flavor profile, culminating with wonderful length and depth."
