Intriguing nose with that mineral note. Smooth palate entry and then lots of energy and fine tannins. Pretty dry on the end!  [20/11/2016]

The 2012 Barolo Rocche dell’Annunziata is one of the riper, racier wines in this range. Sweet floral notes meld into a core of red berries, mint and sweet spices. This is a very typical 2012 Barolo that already drinks well early. Expansive and voluptuous to the core, the Rocche is probably the first of these 2012s that I would choose to open. This is a very typical Barolo from one of La Morra’s finest sites. [Antonio Galloni, 03/01/2016]
