Crushed flowers, spices, orange peel, dried red cherries and mint are all laced together in the 2010 Barolo Monvigliero. Today, the 2010 is quite shut down, even if plenty of its distinctive floral and savory notes emerge over time. Firm tannins keep the fruit from showing all of its sweetness, but the 2010 is nevertheless quite beautiful, even at this early stage.
