
Tom Mann
Managing Director
Tom has over 20 years’ experience in the fine wine trade, starting in 1999 as a shop assistant at the Elizabeth St branch of Jeroboams in London, eventually running their Pont St shop. Following almost 5 years in retail, he moved to the fine wine traders Fine & Rare Wines, and then was headhunted by Bordeaux Index in 2005, finishing as an Associate Director. Departing in 2009, he ran LHK Fine Wines until 2016, when he moved to Appellations as the Sales Director, leaving in July 2021.
He has extensive experience of tailoring and developing close client relationships with a view to making their wine buying experience the most profitable & personal. In addition to this, he has developed several different IT systems to make buying & selling wine more efficient and brings this experience and expertise to Mann Fine Wine. Tom runs the business on a day to day basis, being responsible for all the sales and purchasing, as well as managing client reserves.
Kirsty Mann
Commercial Director
Kirsty Mann has over 15 years’ experience in commercial strategy. She’s headed research and insight departments at some of the largest communications agencies in the world, within Omnicom and WPP, as well as running her own consultancy for the last 5 years.
Having worked with a wide variety of high-profile clients – such as Unilever, Barclays, Hasbro, EasyJet, Honda and many more – the cross-sector industry knowledge she brings to Mann Fine Wine is extensive.
Kirsty’s specialisms range from strategic recommendations for brands and businesses to new product development on a global scale, as well as niche end-to-end purchase journeys. Her passion is using multi-methodology research, particularly quantitative data analysis and trends forecasting, to ensure that the customer experience is always current and relevant.
Along with her operational expertise in running business units and revenue streams, Kirsty brings a deeper level of client understanding to Mann Fine Wine. Kirsty oversees the general company financial position, logistics, and client-experience strategy.
